Rebecca is reading Donald Hall's final book of essays, A Carnival of Losses: Notes Nearing Ninety. I'm taking it slowly. I've reread "Solitude Double Solitude" (previously published in The New Yorker) three times already. I don't want the book to end, and for this to be the end.

Shari just finished Andrew Sean Greer's, Less, which is perhaps the perfect summer read. It's full of travel, humor, wit, charm and heart. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
