Kathy Edin, professor of Sociology & Public Affairs at Princeton, will speak on the widening Inequality problem in America. She will focus on the perilous economic and social inequality challenges faced by the poor. She is widely considered the foremost voice of people living in poverty in our country and has written two books on the subject, $2-a-day: The Art of Living on Virtually Nothing in America and Coming of Age in the Other America, which she will sign during intermission.
